- Inspiratory gases are warmed and humidified by the reaction of the soda lime in the absorber
- Conditioned inspiratory gas is delivered through the internal tubing
- Extendable outer tube is used for expiration
- Automatic thermal jacketing of the inner tube
- During inspiration, heat is exchanged and conditioning is maintained
