At EconoMed, we aim to provide a transparent and efficient procurement process for all of our commercial and corporate clients. Please review our standard return and refund guidelines below.
1. 14-Day Return Request Window
In accordance with UK commercial standards, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return on eligible items.
• Eligibility: To qualify for a return, your item must be completely unused, unaltered, and in the exact condition you received it. It must remain in its original, undamaged commercial packaging with all factory labels, seals, and documentation intact.
• Proof of Purchase: A valid order number, digital invoice, or proof of purchase is strictly required to process all transactions.
2. How to Initiate a Return
⚠️ Important: Items sent back to our facility without prior written authorisation will not be accepted or processed.
• Request Authorisation: To initiate a return, please contact our support team at info@economed.co.uk or submit a request via our Contact Us page.
• Documentation: If your return request is approved, we will issue a formal Returns Form along with specific instructions detailing how and where to safely dispatch your package to our centralised UK distribution centre.
• Direct Requests: You may also log into your secure Customer Account on our storefront to submit a return request directly.
3. Return Shipping Costs & Fees
• Shipping Responsibility: The customer is responsible for organising and paying all return shipping costs for change-of-mind or standard commercial returns. We strongly recommend utilising a fully tracked courier service with signature confirmation, as EconoMed cannot guarantee or assume liability for items lost or damaged in transit back to our hub.
• Restocking Fees: EconoMed charges no restocking, administrative, or processing fees for successfully approved, compliant returns.
4. Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items
To maintain standard commercial warehouse safety and inventory integrity, certain items are exempt from being returned:
• Opened Consumables: Industrial fluid packs, adhesive backing tapes, or bulk facility supplies cannot be returned once the outer protective wrap or factory seal has been broken.
• Customised Items: Custom-configured workplace layouts or personalised equipment built specifically to client specifications.
• Final Sale: We do not accept returns on clearance sale items, promotional bundles, or digital gift cards.
5. Delivery Damage, Faulty Items & Warranties
Please inspect your consignment thoroughly immediately upon arrival.
• Immediate Reporting: If an item is found to be defective, structurally damaged, or if you received an incorrect item, contact us at info@economed.co.uk within 48 hours of delivery. We will evaluate the issue and prioritise a tracked replacement or a full correction at zero cost to you.
• Commercial Warranty: For equipment out-of-warranty or requests falling outside standard manufacturer terms, a standard industrial repair service charge may apply. Please contact us directly for specific product warranty queries.
6. Exchanges
The most efficient way to secure the alternative item your facility requires is to return the unwanted item. Once your return is received and officially accepted by our warehouse team, you can place a completely separate new order for the alternative item through our storefront.
7. Refunds
Upon receipt and formal inspection of your return at our UK distribution hub, we will notify you via email regarding the approval status of your refund.
• Approval & Timeline: If your return meets all compliance parameters, your refund will be automatically processed back to your original payment method within 7 business days.
• Banking Delays: Please note that banks and credit card companies can require additional processing cycles to clear funds into your account. If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was officially approved without appearing in your account, please contact us for tracing assistance.
