Product Description
The QuikRead go® wrCRP+Hb Kit is intended for use with the QuikRead go® testing device and enablesrapid analysisof C-reactive protein and hemoglobin from just one drop of blood (whole blood). For thequantitative determinationof CRP, unlike Hb determination, both whole blood and serum or plasma can be used. The unique feature of this kit is theextended (wide range) CRP measurement range from 0.5 to 200 mg/l. Especially inhigh-risk patientsfor recurrentcoronary events, CRP levels between 1 mg/l and 3 mg/l can already indicate a moderate risk, and levels above 3 mg/l represent a high risk of further coronary events. Additionally, in other risk areas such as neonatal sepsis or rheumatoid arthritis, CRP measurement in the lower range between 0.5 to 5 mg/l is clinically relevant.
