The BD Vacutainer® tubes for blood group determination are provided with theanticoagulant ACD(Acid Citrate Dextrose/Glucose), which is used topreserve the red blood cells. They are available indifferent mixing ratios, either with solution A or B, and have been specially designed forblood group determination.
