The Tegaderm CHG I.V securement dressing is aspecial dressing for I.V. injection sites, which reduces catheter-associated infections up to 60%. The CHG gel pad is transparent, to allow for a constant monitoring of the injection site without having to remove the dressing. While wearing, the Tegaderm CHG securement dressing constantly releases 2 % of CHG into the skin, thus providing an antimicrobial protection that lastsup to 7 days.
